How do I know someone will send me a book I have requested?

On joining, every member agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of the scheme and it is hoped that members will enthusiastically participate in circulating books. Failure to send a requested book will result in that user's account being frozen, and may then result in their membership being withdrawn.

What happens if I want to leave the community?

By not paying up your signing-up fee when it becomes due your membership would automatically lapse and any books currently registered in your name will be removed from the list. If your list of books has increased by more than five books you will be charged a nominal price of £1.50 per book in excess of this number (or you can choose to send the books to a central pool). Any funds received will be used to add more books to the community library. Please refer to clause 15 of the terms and conditions for further information on cessation of membership.

When you request a book, you are told how much to the postage will be before you confirm the exchange. This can also be checked for any book by going to 'my exchanges'.

Why can I not see the books I have added?

Members can only see books that are not on their own bookshelves. It would be illogical to see your own books as you would never want to request them.
